How did you become interested in your current program or coursework?
I had been thinking about a career change for a while. I wanted a job with a challenge that offered multiple opportunities. This program seemed to be the logical choice.
What do you like most about your program or coursework?
I found that the Medical Coder/Biller job outlook was excellent and training could be accomplished within a year. The organization of the program allows me to stay on track toward success.
Why did you pick the center/college you’re attending?
I picked the Winter Park Tech location because it was in close proximity of my residence and the positive reputation of the school.
What do you plan to do after graduation?
I plan to work in the field and achieve certification as a Coder/Biller.
What advice would you give someone thinking about a career in your field?
For those that are detail oriented and do not want to have patient care contact within the Health field, this is a good choice.
What does “Career in a Year” mean to you?
Good training and experience can be achieved in a short period of time.
